Day THREE : Round Two Complete as Marche gatecrashes the Quarters

The Optasia Championships 2025 continued with the second part of Round Two, eight matches from the bottom half of the draws.

As yesterday, it all went the way of the seeded players with men’s defending champion Paul Coll, English trio of Mohamed and Marwan ElShorbagy and Gina Kennedy, Egyptian duo Sana Ibrahim and Nada Abbas all making the quarter-finals, to be joined in the final two matches by France’s Melissa Alves and finally Gregoire Marche who produced the first seeding upset as he ousted Miguel Rodriguez in four games.
